Typical Project--Kunshan Waterworks Group Third Factory

Kunshan Waterworks Group Third Factory uses the water source from Taihu Lake watershed Kuilei lake water. because of the river water quality pollution and lake eutrophication is serious, water supply source belongs to class III-IV water. Kunshan Waterworks Group implemented water advanced treatment in 2006 with treatment process of O3+ conventional treatment +O3-BAC. Treatment capacity of first stage is 400,000.00 tons / day with 3 sets of 20kg/h ozone system of overseas brand; Treatment capacity of second phase increased 200,000.00 tons /day with 1 set of 20kg/h ozone system of Guolin brand.

Ozone dosage of the second phase project is divided into two stages: ozone pretreatment and ozone aftertreatment. ozone pretreatment process is designed with 4min reaction time, injector dosing and 0.5-1mg/L dosing quantity; ozone aftertreatment process is designed with porous diffusion dosing and 1.5-2.5mg/l dosing quantity. Guolin 20kg/h ozone generator has been put into operation since December of 2008, and the whole system is running stably. Kunshan Waterworks Group Fourth Factory purchased 2 sets of 20kg/h ozone system in 2009 from Guolin company.

The operation of Guolin ozone system in Kunshan Third Factory is  application of the domestic ozone generator in the large water plant. This success broke the situation of China's municipal water supply industry is monopolized by foreign brands.

Ozone function

Drinking water source has been polluted in different degrees in China and most of the drinking water sources belongs to the III class and above class. The conventional treatment process includes flocculation--sedimentation--filtration--disinfection process is difficult to meet the new standard of drinking water. Municipal water advanced treatment uses the process of ozone - biological activated carbon. Ozone strong oxidation ability could achieve decomposition of organic pollutants, improve the degradation of activated carbon to organic matter, effectively kill bacteria and viruses, reduce by products and reduce the odor and iron, manganese, etc. so that it could improve the quality of water, taste. This treatment process has become the main technology in Chinese municipal water treatment.
