Typical Project--Shi Jiazhuang Qiaodong Waste Water Factory

 

The treatment capacity of Shi Jiazhuang Qiaodong Waste Water Treatment Factory is 600,000.00m3/d. Because of larger proportion of industrial wastewater, conventional treatment method will lead to high chroma value of effluent. In 2012, in order to reduce the color of effluent and achieve Xiao River water quality improvement goal, Qiaodong Factory decided to take ozone oxidation method to remove color for waste water.

The core technology of this project is ozone catalytic oxidation with designed treatment scale of 600000 m3/d. Ozone dosage is 15~20mg/L. Ozone generator system design is 5 sets of 120kg/h ozone equipment for oxygen source (4W1S). The ozone system has been put into operation since May of 2013, all technical indicators have reached the design requirements and outlet water effect is stable. COD value before ozone oxidation is 55-65mg/L and COD of the effluent was stable at 50mg/L even below. The chroma before ozone treatment is 70-80 times and the effluent color value was less than 20 times.

Shi Jiazhuang Qiaodong Waste Water Treatment Factory decolorization project is large-scale ozone system project until now in China, which is also  municpal water and waste water treatment project that used the single ozone generaotor with capacity more than 100 kg/h.

Ozone function

Municipal sewage mainly contains living sewage, so conventional biological treatment process can meet the emission standards. But for municipal wastewater treatment plant with a certain proportion of industrial wastewater and municipal wastewater treatment for reuse, ozone oxidation process is necessay to be combined. Ozone can decompose the organic substance which is difficult to be decomposed, improve the biodegradability of the wastewater and kill the bacteria and viruses. Meanwile ozone also has the effect of decolorization and deodorization so that it can improve the quality of the effluent and make effluent to meet the standard of grade A discharge and environmental IV class water.
